In May I will cycle from Land's End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in Scotland - the length of mainland Britain! Although it can be done in around 900 miles, I will be avoiding the busiest roads and so travelling about 1,000 miles.

I have never done such a long ride before (or anything even close) and I am sure I am going to need some encouragement to keep me going up all those hills! Please sponsor me generously so that I will know that all my effort is bearing fruit.
